Purpose

The R. Omar and Evelyn Rilett Family Life Sciences Lectures Series was established in 2007 by Evelyn Rilett, widow of R. Omar Rilett, to honor the Rilett Family. The purpose of the fund is to bring outstanding life scientists and lectures to Illinois State University for the benefit of the academic and local communities. Assets of this endowment are invested in the Illinois State University Endowment Investment Pool.
