Research Interests & Areas
Pirmin's research is in evolutionary and conservation genetics and genomics. Current projects focus on the genetic and fitness consequences of inbreeding in small wild song sparrow and deermouse populations and extra-pair reporduction, mate choice, and other evolutionary questions in a wild house wren population.
